is the founder, owner, chef, the reservation taker and even at times, the server at Lynn’s Bistro. This intimate, feminine and ever so refined restaurant is basically a one woman show. In the early 1980s MyLinh apprenticed with Dominique Place, arguably the city’s master saucier and classical French chef, so it’s no surprise that her sauces are as fragrant and complex as those of her mentor. She built her reputation as she moved around the country serving as sous chef at Ten Ten in Houston, then presiding for five years as head chef at New York’s Lavana Moon before coming back to Seattle as head chef at Crepe de Paris in Rainier Square. In the summer of 2001, MyLinh finally opened the first restaurant that she can call her own, Lynn’s Bistro and Fine Catering. With her life experiences in Asia and around the United States, MyLinh has translated her journey into the Asian-accented French cuisine that she proudly serves today. |
